Brent Bell

Vice President of Recycling at WM

Member of the Board since May 2024, Brent is the Vice President of Recycling for WM, leveraging over 25 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry. He is currently responsible for operations of 100+ facilities and sales & marketing of 10 million tons of recyclables. With strategic leadership and expertise in operations and sales, Brent has been instrumental in growing WM’s recycling business into the largest residential recycler in North America.  

Brent holds a B.B.A. with a degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He currently serves on the board of Natura PCR (WM Investment) and previously served as a board member on the Keep Friendswood Beautiful board and the Rare Earth Materials (WM Investment) board.  

Bringing his operator perspective to help further collaboration on commodity markets and recycled materials goals, Brent is committed to advancing residential recycling and circularity solutions.
