Scott Ballard

President of Plastics Division at Eastman

Member of the Board since May 2024, Scott Ballard is the President of Eastman’s Plastics Division, overseeing the global strategy and operations for polyester and cellulosic plastics, integrated monomers, and molecular recycling investments. With a robust career spanning a variety of roles with exposure to several industries, including Vice President and General Manager of the Fibers Business Segment and General Manager of Tire Additives, Scott brings strategic acumen and proven commitment to sustainable development.  

Scott holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an M.B.A from Duke University. He currently serves on the board of the National Association for PET Container Resources (NAPCOR).
