
Stephanie Potter
Board member since May 2022, Stephanie Potter leads Nestlé USA’s Corporate and Government Affairs Sustainability team and the company’s transition to the circular economy through oversight of sustainability initiatives that reduce the environmental impact of packaging, decrease use of virgin packaging material, increase the collection of materials, optimize infrastructure through partnerships and coalitions, and accelerate Nestlé’s progress toward global commitments. Stephanie comes to Nestlé USA from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, where she oversaw collaborations focused on everything from circular supply chains to recycling and recovery infrastructure with multinationals, government agencies, and NGOs and supported the U.S. Chamber in refining its approach to climate action. Stephanie previously created and implemented a sustainable business strategy for North American commercial clients at Rabobank, the premier financial partner to the international food and agriculture industry, that expanded the bank’s client base with innovative financing solutions. She began her career investing in venture growth at Ashoka: Innovators for the Public and Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2). Stephanie is an Adjunct professor of sustainability at American University’s Kogod School of Business and volunteer consultant for Compass Pro Bono, a 501(c)3 organization which provides pro bono professional consulting services to nonprofit organizations. She graduated with Honors from Stanford University with a BA in Political Science and an MA in Educational Policy.
