Why I Care About Recycling and a Circular Economy
I care about Recycling and Circular Economy because I have always has respect for the resources of our planet. When I was younger we collected cand and bottles and took them to the recycling centers where we received some compensation. I loved the feeling of helping to clean up and help preserve the resources of planet Earth. I feel it is important to give back as much as we take from our precious resources. Recycling and the Circular Economy means designing for durability, reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling to keep products, components, and materials circulating in the economy. This is important to me because it aligns with my personal values of showing respect to the planet.

Personal Passions and Interests Outside of Work
I enjoy teaching weekly Afro-Jazz dance classes and posting new recipes on my YouTube channel The Dancing Vegan. I love visiting my family and friends in the Bay Area where I am originally from. I especially love seeing my 4 children and 2 twin grandsons. I love working in my garden and growing my own food that I use in tasty Vegan recipes. I also enjoy working out daily which includes walking, dancing, yoga, and mediation. In Colorado where I am living, I will take any opportunity I can to get outside into nature especially on nice sunny days!
