Ashley Smith, Finance Controller
Armed with nearly a decade of nonprofit finance experience, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of fiscal management, operational efficiency, human resources, fundraising strategy, and program development. With experience working in public media, local agriculture, food access, and the performing arts, Ashley has a well-rounded view of what makes nonprofit organizations successful and sustainable. She brings this expertise and perspective to The Recycling Partnership as Finance Controller, overseeing the organization’s financial operations.
Why I Care About Recycling
“I care about recycling and the work we do at The Partnership because it echoes two of my personal core values: integrity and justice. Integrity is reflected in the work that encourages the responsible production and reproduction of materials, and this work provides justice for those communities without adequate access to recycling.”
Personal Passions and Interests
Outside of her work, you will find Ashley rummaging through forgotten treasures at local thrift shops or wining and dining around Atlanta’s food scene.
