Emily Tipaldo, Executive Director, U.S. Plastics Pact
Emily joins the U.S. Plastics Pact with more than a decade of experience with plastics, recycling, and materials management. The potential through value chain collaboration to improve our climate and more responsibly use materials motivates her every day. Prior to joining the Pact, Emily was Director of Strategy & Business Development for MORE Recycling – a mission-driven data and technology plastics sustainability consulting firm. And, before joining MORE Recycling, Emily led the Packaging Team as part of the American Chemistry Council’s Plastics Division.
While leading the Packaging Team, Emily initiated the Materials Recovery for the Future (MRFF) research collaborative for flexible film recycling and executed the first natural capital accounting assessment for the packaging industry. She was also instrumental in the development and passage of the Microbead-Free Waters Act of 2015.
Outside the U.S. Plastics Pact, you can find her with her husband, chasing around two little dudes at the beach in Charleston, SC.
