He/Him/His

For over a decade, Eric has worked to engage partners and support efforts to reduce the impacts of products on people and the environment. Eric serves as the Director of Polypropylene Recycling Advancement, where he works with partners to increase access to curbside recycling for polypropylene, ensure more recycling facilities can sort polypropylene successfully, and stimulate end-markets of recycled polypropylene for reuse in packaging. Prior to this role at The Recycling Partnership, Eric was the Global Engagement Director for the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Clean Cities, Blue Ocean Program where his experience to develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders helped to catalyze development projects to strengthen waste management and equitable solutions in communities around the world. Eric has also managed stakeholder working groups during his time at Ocean Conservancy (Trash Free Seas Alliance) and during his time with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. Eric understands the impact potential and importance of establishing an inclusive and diverse coalition to transition to a more circular economy and ensure holistic solutions can be realized.

Why I Care About Recycling and a Circular Economy

“It’s an exciting and evolving landscape. Recycling is one of the first ways I felt empowered to support conservation and sustainability efforts. I think it is an entry point for many people, and through the work of The Recycling Partnership, I hope it something that is available to everyone.”
