How do we work together to transform recycling for good? Glad you asked.

We are a national nonprofit transforming recycling for good in towns, cities and states all across America. Because when we do, jobs are created, our environment is protected, and communities thrive.

CART GRANTS

Geared specifically to help counties, municipalities, tribes and solid waste authorities with 4,000 or more households seeking to upgrade to cart-based curbside recycling collection, awardees will receive up to $7/cart in grant funding, tailored educational materials paired with a communications grant, and best in class technical assistance.

The application is one simple form that must be submitted with letters of recommendation. More details and eligibility requirements can be found at this recycling grant link. Potential applicants may email questions to Technical Assistance Specialist Rob Taylor at rtaylor@recyclingpartnership.org.

Results-oriented action

We study the impact in each partner community. Yes, we want to know if the campaign got noticed, but ultimately we are interested in if it increased recycling participation and tonnage, or improved contamination.

Education

We help communities be strategic in the way they communicate to their residents so their efforts are more effective. Our educational programs are custom-tailored to fit each community’s unique personality and needs.

Operational assistance

We are a full-service organization. If any concerns or issues arise, we are available to troubleshoot and help our partners reach the most beneficial outcome possible.
