Robin Wiener

Member of the Board since May 2021, Robin Wiener leads the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), which represents approximately 1,300 private, for-profit companies in 41 countries around the world that process, broker & consume scrap metal, paper, plastics, glass, textiles, rubber and electronics. She joined ISRI in 1989, directing the environmental compliance activities for the association and became President in 1997. Robin currently serves on the boards of Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), Keep America Beautiful (KAB) and Jason Learning. She is a Past Chair of NAM’s Council of Manufacturing Associations and is a member of the Key Industry Associations Committee (KIAC) of ASAE. Robin earned a J.D. degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, and her B.S.E. degree in chemical engineering from University of Pennsylvania. She is co-author of the RCRA Compliance & Enforcement Manual (Shepard’s McGraw-Hill, 1994) as part of its Environmental Law Series.
