Scott Hemink

ITQ Director of Packaging at General Mills

Member of the Board since July 2021. During his 20-year career at General Mills, Scott Hemink has worked within Packaging R&D across multiple categories and led teams of packaging professionals around the world. In 2013, Scott’s leadership expanded to include all aspects of Research, Development, and Quality for the Latin America region. From 2017 through 2020, he led the R&D teams for Old El Paso, Totino’s, and Kitano on 4 continents. In 2018, Scott also began leading the internal packaging community including team members from multiple functions. As a community, they built new strategies for talent onboarding, built critical capabilities, and partnered with Global Sustainability leadership to create their Packaging Recyclability Ambition. In January 2021, Scott was named as Director of Packaging for RD&Q that includes accountability for Packaging Recyclability. Prior to joining General Mills, Scott spent several years at P&G in Manufacturing and Logistics roles.
