Calling all community recycling programs in the Southeast: we’re rolling into Nashville to help you tackle contamination! The Recycling Partnership is teaming up with KAB and the Southeast Recycling Development Council (SERDC) to throw an interactive half-day workshop on Monday, August 20 2018 from 1-5pm (before WASTECON’s kickoff event that evening).
With support from Waste Management, the workshop also has a Scholarship Program that will offer 40 lucky community-level recycling staff and KAB affiliate staff up to $1,000 for travel costs to attend. Participants of the workshop will receive cutting-edge training and technical support to improve their recycling programs and reduce contamination.
Act fast! Applications are due to KAB by Monday July 23rd 2018.
Already attending WASTECON and don’t need help with travel? Join us at the workshop by registering with the same link!
Pro tip: Didn’t receive a grant to join us at RRC? Don’t let that stop you – apply for the Waste Management Scholarship! We’re on a mission to fight contamination across the country, and this workshop will arm you with many of the same tools and tactics we’ll cover at RRC in October.
