Why I Care About Recycling

“The heart of recycling – conserving, rather than wasting resources – is engrained in my fabric. Recycling is a path forward to help us all understand and appreciate the resources we have, while helping us live lightly on this planet together.”

Personal Passions and Interests

Living in the Sunshine State, Alita can be found bicycling the trail, jumping in local springs, or getting sandy at the beach, when she is not trying to save the planet one can, bottle, or cardboard box at a time!

Advanced Degree

  • Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida
